Fever in clinically stable patients

Respiratory tract infections without breathing difficulties

Welcome

Upon arrival, families are greeted at reception, data is registered, and the child is taken directly to the examination room.

Pediatric  triage

A healthcare professional assesses the child’s condition through targeted questions and vital sign monitoring.

Visit and diagnosis

The child is examined by an emergency-trained pediatrician and, if needed, diagnostic tests are performed immediately.

Treatment and follow-up

Whenever possible, therapy is administered on-site (for example nebulized treatment, corticosteroids, antiemetics). After discharge, our team provides a phone follow-up until the issue is fully resolved.

Monitoring

Our pediatricians continue to care for little patients even after the urgency has passed. Their work is essential to prevent, diagnose, and treat illnesses, and to monitor each child’s physical, emotional, and mental development.

In the waiting area: games, books, tablets, and cartoon screens — all sanitized after each use.

Children can reach the examination room riding small remote-controlled cars, turning care into play.

At the end of the visit, every child receives a small gift.

Comfort for parents too: free Wi-Fi, water, coffee, and snacks.

For infants: bottle warmers and diapers available.

For the most anxious little ones, virtual reality helps reduce stress and transform the visit into a positive experience.

Every day our team cares for children with the competence of pediatricians specialized in emergencies and the sensitivity of those who know how to communicate with young patients and their parents.

At Piccolo Soccorso, we only work with pediatricians who have had experience in Italian and international pediatric emergency departments. All hold specialty training and PALS certification (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).
